Dietary Supplements
Product Range
The products are grouped into 4 categories: health, muscle building, endurance, and fat loss.
The company uses as many ingredients from organic farming as possible. All products are free from chemical additives and GMOs. All products are manufactured in France.
In the muscle building category, for example, you can find:
- vitamins, minerals, and omega-3,
- amino acids (glycine, citrulline, etc.),
- plant-based proteins,
- whey (milk protein),
- protein bars
- ingredients for making a breakfast or athlete’s snack (sweet potato flour, granola, coconut oil).
Nutripure’s whey isolate is of very high quality, which we have highlighted in our best whey protein comparison.
Focus on Plant-Based Proteins
The plant-based proteins from Nutripure consist of 70% pea protein and 30% rice protein. They are suitable for those intolerant to gluten and lactose, as well as individuals following restrictive diets like veganism.
The plant-based proteins from Nutripure are hydrolyzed. This means the amino acid chains have been broken, making it easier to absorb.
Their corrected digestibility amino acid score is said to be 100% according to Nutripure. This score evaluates the quality of proteins. The better the capability of a protein to supply the body with essential amino acids post-digestion, the higher the score.
Their BCAA content is over 18%. These are branched-chain amino acids whose effect on muscle mass development has been highlighted by several studies.
Focus on the multivitamins
The Nutripure multivitamin supplement includes 22 nutrients, comprising 12 vitamins and 5 minerals. Among the vitamins, there is vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin E, and B-group vitamins: vitamin B6, vitamin B9, and vitamin B12 in particular.
In the composition section, there are certificates regarding the absence of nanoparticles in vitamin E or the analysis of bacteria or heavy metals presence.
The ingredients of the multivitamins are contained in a plant-based pullulan capsule, which ranks higher in quality compared to a plant-based HPMC capsule.

Test and reviews
Product: ★★★★☆
I tested several products from the Nutripure range: plant-based proteins with a shaker and two flavors, chocolate and mango lime. Also the multivitamins, magnesium, and omega-3.
My package was accompanied by a booklet. It contains key information about the brand, its approach, its values, and also recipes to make with the company’s products, like a banana bread.
In terms of visual aspect, the product packaging is pleasant. A small French flag is visible on the packaging as the products are made in France.
The capsules have a neutral smell and are relatively easy to swallow.
Regarding the plant-based proteins, the powder also has a neutral smell. The powder is very fine. I mixed it in with soy milk. After a few shakes in the shaker, I obtained a homogeneous preparation without lumps. I find that the texture is slightly floury.
I added chocolate flavor. Soy milk might not be the most suitable plant milk for this powder, as I wasn’t fully convinced by the taste of the preparation.
I tested it by mixing it with water. The taste turned out to be more neutral. I also tried it with almond milk and a bit of icing sugar, and I preferred this preparation’s taste over the one made with soy milk.
Price: ★★★★☆
I created a price comparison table for the plant-based proteins and multivitamins from Nutripure with those offered by several competitors.
Plant-based proteins
Nutripure | Nu3 | Bulk Powders | Foodspring
Price Dec. 2020 | 32,90 € / kg | 21,99 € / kg | 32,99 € / kg | 39,99 € / kg |
nu3: Vegan proteins (pea, hemp, and rice)
Bulk Powders: vegan powder mix (pea protein isolate, brown rice protein, pumpkin seed protein, etc.)
Foodspring: plant-based protein (pea protein isolate, sunflower seed protein, chickpea protein isolate, hemp protein)
Multivitamines
Nutripure | Nutrimea | Anastore
Price Dec. 2020 | €0.51/g | €0.30/g | €0.32/g |
Magnesium
Nutripure | Nutrimea | Natura Force
Price Dec. 2020 | €0.30/g | €0.16/g | €0.32/g |
Regarding plant-based proteins, Nutripure offers an attractive price given the organic certification of its ingredients.
The multi from Nutrimea includes about ten ingredients vs. twenty at Nutripure. There are also compositional disparities that may affect the product’s price.
Finally, Nutripure’s magnesium is priced similarly or close to two of its competitors.
Delivery is available in many countries. In metropolitan France, delivery is free at pick-up points for purchases over €39.
There are boxes that are cheaper than buying products separately. Each order generates 7% loyalty credits which can be used for future purchases from the range.
A referral program allows the referred person to deduct €5 from their order of €50 or more. The referrer earns 5% of the referred person’s purchase amount in loyalty credits.
Regarding site navigation, I find the product catalog not very readable. Products are not grouped by form (powder, capsules, drops, etc.) which makes navigation non-intuitive.
Transparency: ★★★★★
Nutripure specifies the origin of ingredients in its dietary supplements in the transparency section of each product page. The country of origin is mentioned.
For example, ashwagandha root extracts come from India. However, the sweet potatoes used to make the flour come from Africa, and there is no mention of the country. Nutripure could enhance its transparency approach by mentioning the region of origin.
The brand’s site specifies the suppliers of raw materials. In each product page, the certificates section includes microbiological or quality studies on the products.
Nutripure was founded in 2018 by two brothers. Christophe Carrio is a five-time world champion in artistic karate. He notably developed a bodyweight training method called CTS, ‘cross-training system’.
Florent Carrio has an engineering background, trained at SupAéro and completed his studies with entrepreneurial training at Stanford. He later worked as a manager or CEO of several companies.

Expertise: ★★★★☆
In the product sheets, I find a scientific references tab detailing the benefits of each product. The brand cites scientific studies to support its statements.
Nutripure’s blog presents articles on health, sports nutrition, and recipes with brand products. Some articles are accompanied by a scientific bibliography.
The company collaborates with health experts, including a doctor and a pharmacist. They are involved in product formulation and determining the duration of supplements.
Popularity: ★★★★☆
I used the SimilarWeb tool to analyze the traffic of Nutripure’s website. In November 2020, it had approximately 120,000 visits, which is quite high. On social media, the company has nearly 20,000 followers on Facebook and 15,000 on Instagram.
On Amazon, I noted that the company’s best sellers (omega 3, multivitamins, and magnesium) have about a hundred reviews. The comments highlight the ease of swallowing the supplements, French manufacturing, and ingredient traceability. Transparency is emphasized.
On the Nutripure website, the products with the most reviews have a little over a hundred. The majority of products have been reviewed by a few dozen people.
Trust: ★★★★☆
You can use an online form or send an email to contact@nutripure.fr to reach customer service for inquiries about shipping and delivery. It’s also possible to ask questions regarding the choice or use of a product.
Customer service is also reachable via Facebook.
Here are the questions I asked:
- In plant proteins, is the rice actually white rice?
- Has the arsenic content in the rice been checked?
- It mentions a digestibility-corrected chemical score of 100%, is there a document verifying this?
- Regarding the multivitamins, I wanted to know if there is a risk, during a several-week regimen, of overdosing some nutrients that exceed the RDAs: vitamin D (500% RDA), vitamin B8 (300% RDA), or vitamin C for example (250%).
The response time to my inquiries via the online form was quick (2 days). The answers provided by my contact were clear and precise:
Concerning the PDCAAS certificate:
Most of the supplements are produced in France, in the Toulouse region. The manufacturing is ISO22000 and HACCP certified, both of which are focused on food safety.
