Nutri&Co specializes in nutraceuticals. “Dietary supplement” is deliberately not a term the company uses to describe its products. The reason? The brand aims to remove the “guilty” connotation that this term may imply.

As a consumer, you are invited to display your bottle of nutraceuticals like a perfume vial in your bathroom! Nutri&Co aims to create a daily preventive reflex around capsule intake, similar to teeth brushing.

Who is behind Nutri and Co?

Nutri&Co is a young company from Aix, launched in early 2017 by Édouard Fornas and Jean-Baptiste Gouraud. It now has 20 employees.

Édouard inherited the entrepreneurial spirit from his father. He started his career as a financial analyst. Before diving into entrepreneurship, Jean-Baptiste got his initial experience as an Artistic Director in the Web domain. 

The two founders started with the observation that our diet could not cover 100% of our nutritional needs. They therefore scrutinized the market’s supplement offerings and struggled to find clarity in this nebulous space.

Faced with often sanitized packaging, highly variable prices, and a noted lack of transparency regarding product composition, for example, Nutri&Co was born as a solution to guide us in purchasing supplements.

Transparency and Support 

The desire for transparency and consumer support at Nutri&Co is achieved in part through educational and entertaining infographics about active ingredients used.

Concise and illustrated, this information is based on scientific studies. On the blog, there are also numerous articles published by experts along with references.

Nutri&co

The startup has reduced the number of intermediaries to closely monitor the quality of manufacturing and product packaging. Thus, the majority of these products are made in France.

An interactive map allows you to discover the origins of the raw materials used in the formulations, which is rare for dietary supplement brands. A certificate of analysis for Omega-3 is even available on their website.

The company has launched an app to create even more closeness with consumers. A questionnaire based on an algorithm allows you to get a personalized dosage. Alerts can be set to remind you to take your supplements.

The app still seems to need some tweaks as bugs have been reported.

Nutri&Co Supplements

Initially, Nutri&Co marketed its supplements on the Amazon platform. In December 2018, the company launched sales on its own e-commerce platform.

In 2019, it launched a partnership with Franprix: its products are now available in 52 stores in the Paris region. Recently, the brand announced the launch of its e-shop in Italy and Germany.

All products are made from natural ingredients and are:

There are three categories of supplements: superfoods, micronutrients, and nutricosmetics. Currently, the range includes:

This range will expand soon. Maca and moringa are, for example, on the list of upcoming superfoods that will be available.

The latest addition to the range is the organic millet and plant-based biotin. It’s the result of over a year of research on hair beauty.

Two clinical studies highlight the effectiveness of the French millet in this formulation. It is the very first organic and vegan formulation on the market.

Partners and Laboratories 

Nutri&Co collaborates with numerous partners, mainly in Europe. Among them are laboratories certified ISO 22000, Ecocert, or organic.

An in-house research and development team scrutinizes studies conducted by independent scientific teams and ensures innovative formulations are proposed.

Price and Loyalty Program

Regarding prices, we compared the price of organic spirulina with two competitors. With almost 10 euro cents per gram of spirulina, it is slightly more expensive than Nutriméa (approximately 9 cents per gram) but more affordable than Anastore (21 cents per gram).

It is possible to opt for packs such as the athlete’s pack containing 4 different capsule bottles. It saves almost €7 compared to purchasing the products separately. The maternity, energy, organic, immunity, digestion, beauty packs are also available.

Packs of three similar bottles are also more advantageous, with almost 5 euros saved on a pack of three Omega-3 bottles.

The brand offers free shipping on purchases over 60 euros and the company commits to delivering the customer within 48 to 72 hours.

At Nutri&Co, every euro spent by customers is equivalent to one point. When the points reach certain thresholds, the company offers gifts or products. For example, at 500 points, you can choose a Chilly’s bottle branded with the company logo.

What stands out from the reviews is the quality of the products and the scientific rigor of the information available on the active ingredients. Customers highlight the quality of customer relations and the availability of after-sales service.

Of the six products currently sold on Amazon, five are ranked number 1 in their respective categories. Their ratings range from 4.2 to 4.6 stars and are based on several hundred customer reviews.

For their price: it’s neither excessive (you see everything in the supplement field online), nor abnormally low, which wouldn’t allow for quality products.
For their image and the trust the brand inspires: it’s a great entrepreneurial story and a company I find innovative and ambitious. Moreover, the company recently completed a significant funding round, an important sign of stability.
